Xinet Posts Comment on Turning Point for UK Users

May 15, 2008

Earlier today, Xinet posted a statement here on the XUG website for UK users concerned about the business status of integrator Turning Point Innovations (TPI). Word began to spread in the UK on Thursday that Turning Point was in administration, a business status used in many European countries that is similar to filing for bankruptcy protection.

Below is the message provided to us today by Xinet, directed at Xinet users in the UK:

Currently TPI is in administration, but they are still trading under
the control of the administrator. All the key engineering staff are
still working normally until the Administrator decides the future of
the company.

I'm sure you can understand that until the Administrator has made
some decisions it is hard for us to comment right now, but we are
working closely with the TPI management team to get this resolved ASAP.

Rest assured TPI can still give you support, and, whatever the
outcome, Xinet will also be available for support-related issues. We
totally understand all your concerns and will address these once we
have more information ourselves.
