We have just been made aware that there are issues with 10.5.3 Client, primarily with Photoshop and InDesign saving files.
After installing the update, saving files will corrupt the file.
If the update has been installed, the workaround is to "Save As."
This looks to be an issue with saving both locally and across the network.
We strongly recommend against upgrading any client machines to 10.5.3 until this issue has been resolved.

This week Apple has released a 10.5.4 update that specifically addresses the file corruptions when saving files. Initial testing does confirm that it has corrected the issue.
It looks like this update may also correct more obscure issues with saving Adobe files that have been random but persistent for some time.
Additionally Adobe is recommending the installation of the latest update to InDesign that was released yesterday.
According to the release notes this release has a number of significant updates. We are currently testing this release and would recommend installing on a single or small number of machines prior to a wholesale update of all systems.
